I'm not a Pastafarian by any stretch of the imagination but I love the idea behind it. For those not aware it came about because of the shit of the Kansas School board which bitched, whined and moaned about having biology classes teach intelligent design...which is NOT SCIENCE. ID is a theological idea and is not a scientific theory. That being said the man responsible for the creation of the Flying Spaghetti Monster countered that to be fair all forms of creation had to be taught and not just the Christian one (Which was the plan). The end result has become something rather amusing. I figured after reading the site again that I should tip my hat to the people who fight for great justice and logic. Keep up the good work lads and lass. Keep up the good work. |

I still don't understand why people feel the need to cram their beliefs down other people's throats though. I believe in God (and Mother God) but if someone disagrees with me, that's fine. I would never get after them for believing something different than what I believe in. I believe what makes sense to me so I don't have one religion that I follow. I kind of do my own thing.
OK, I'm going to stop before I go on a rant here...
