Dear Fantards,
You people bitch that "you've never read the books so how can you say it's crap!". Then when I reply "I've read the books"; you go "Then why did you read it?" TO PISS YOU OFF THAT'S WHY. I read the books because I wanted to form a proper opinion of the book, that way I would KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. Something you fantards don't quite comprehend the idea of. Wow, knowing something of what you speak. What a fucking concept. /end rant

I read books. Happens in my line of work (i.e. a reader). I generally don't make an opinion of something until I have experienced it. Hard to do without doing it (i.e. reading). Getting a little tired of idiots doing this.

When I was in 6th grade, and Twilight was just getting popular, I read the books cos that's what everyone was doing. I didn't like them. That year at summer camp, the girls in my cabin were fangirling over Twilight and I was like "Beh, I don't like Twilight :>" And they began to flip on me how I've never read the books. And when I explained to them that yes, I freaking DID read the books they were all "wellwhatever...>:C"

It's also really annoying when someone's opinion is based solely off the reactions of others. I don't care if you don't like something, but if the only reason you hate it is because everyone else hates it, and you've never personally taken the time to read the book/watch the show/look it up/actually experiance it, I have little to no respect for your opinion u-u

Very true. For me, based on what I have heard about Twilight, I thought that it was something I wouldn't like, BUT I read the first book and part of the second so I could form an informed opinion on it. After all, sometimes I hear good things about certain books and they end up sucking and sometimes I hear bad things about books and they end up being good. And I did indeed find out it sucked. But I wouldn't have known that if I didn't read it.

I'm glad you also noticed the fail logic that some people have. I don't really respect people who bitch about books, movies, or TV shows that they haven't at least tried to watch or read. I figure you should at least try the first few episodes/chapters. After that, feel free to say it sucks.
